Day 32: Finally, Normal Nights - Saturday, April 14, 2012

We continue today with more videos but first want to share another milestone, Scott no longer requires all night supervision.  Last night, for the second night in a row, Scott slept and only woke up twice to let Ashley know he needed to go to the bathroom.  As Scott is often heard to exclaim...  WAHOO!!

We shot a lengthy conversation between Scott and his Physical Therapist.talking about his eye injury.  This conversation provides insight into Scott's attitude about loosing the site in one eye.  Unfortunately we had to break the video into the five segments below.  Sorry for the low audio levels.

And finally here Scott is showing off his soccer skills during PT.  He really had fun.

Scott had a couple visitors today who brought him interactive exercises that he really enjoyed.  He has been eating like a horse and regained 5 to 10 pounds.  His weight will be taken on Monday for a more accurate measure.  Hopefully on Monday we will have the last swallowing test and remove the remaining food restrictions

Carol and I were able to spend much of the day with Scott and will do the same tomorrow to give Ashley the day off.  We hope to continue pushing him as hard as he wants.

Best!
